The great Lester Bangs, real editor of Creem Magazine, mentored a real teenage Cameron Crowe who had just stumbled his way into writing a piece for Rolling Stone magazine. (Due to Lester Bangs giving him a chance, and an editor for Rolling Stone reading Crowe in Creem.)

Here, from the fictionalized film of that very weird, very true story, is one of the best scenes ever recorded on film, and a great actor at his absolute best.
